The TVR evaporator, or Thermal Vapour Recompression evaporator, is an efficient evaporation equipment that utilizes the siphon principle of ejector heat pumps to recover part of the secondary steam. According to theoretical calculations and practical experience, an ejector heat pump can entrain 0.3 kg of secondary steam with 1 kg of high-pressure steam. By adding an ejector heat pump to a plate-type evaporation system, it is equivalent to adding an additional effect of an evaporator. However, the investment cost of adding an ejector heat pump is much lower than that of adding an additional effect of an evaporator. By utilizing the principle of thermal recompression, the low-temperature steam is compressed, heated, and reused, thereby achieving the recycling of energy.
The TVR evaporator is capable of recovering and utilizing the waste heat from secondary steam, significantly reducing energy consumption.
Equipped with an automated control system, the TVR evaporator operates stably and reliably, minimizing manual intervention. Additionally, it is easy to clean.
Its compact structure and small footprint, combined with a low overall height, make it particularly suitable for retrofitting old factories or for use in spaces with limited availability.
